These sprial cutterheads are capable of cutting knotty wood, stringy wood and hard wood. If one insert edge is dull or damaged, rotate it to another edge Replace only the inserts when all four edges are dull or damaged. These features greatly reduces down time. The spiral cutterheads produce smaller chips and less noise.
